Fun at Marmie's

Sandy and I had a fun visit at Marmie's house last weekend. It was great to see friends and family. I can't wait until we get back to California for good - or at least for a few years. The plan is to move on down after baby fin makes his/her debut appearance. Sandy will be in Oregon getting smarter for the next couple of years (like she needs to get any smarter), but maybe we can talk her into a Bay Area lifestyle after that.

This is a picture after our girls lunch. In the pic: Lindsay and her baby Miles, Me, Sandy, and Amy with her little Cash. Mom, Aunt Peg, and Sally came too.

The Word Is Out

I AM GOING TO BE A GRANDMA!!! I can hardly contain my excitement. So here's the deal...Every year I get my girls a new years gift and so I wasn't expecting anything unusual when Misty told me she had sent me a new years gift and that she wanted me to call her before I opened it. In my box she had packed little pink booties (we are hoping for a girl) and a note that read "Dear Marmie- Looking forward to seeing you in 2008. Love, Baby Fin" I can't even express how wonderful it feels to know I have a Grandbaby on the way. After reading the note Baby Fin had sent I couldn't hold back my tears of joy. This baby is my little miracle this year.

Merry Christmas

I went to a Christmas Eve Party at Clinton and Sally Brown's. Here I am with the two new babies and the center of all the attention Cash Oliver Diaz and Mr. Miles Moore. We had a great time and I am looking forward to next years party.

Getting Started

Well I had better start off by clarifying that this isn't Marme, its Sandy. I just got to thinking that my Mom needed her very own blog. Misty and I both have one and I think it is about time my Mom got one too. She is the wildest one out of the bunch of us and we need a way to keep track of her. I figured she would never get a blog started on her own so I decided to take matters into my own hands but in the future she is going to have to take over. I thought the best way to start off my Mom's blog would be to introduce everyone to her two very mischievous daughters so here we all are, my Mom, Me, and Misty. Get us all together and there's no stopping the fun, mostly because my mom will giggle at anything. For any of you who have seen my mom giggle you know what I am talking about. She goes red in the face, and laughs so hard that she has to struggle to get a breath. If you aren't laughing at the same thing she is laughing at you will be laughing anyways before she is done. Anyway I am looking forward to staying updated on all the excitement in my Mom's life.
