BOY OH BOY!! IT'S A BOY

Misty stunned me with the news at 7:36am this morning. I must admit that I was certain this baby was going to be a girl so I've been planning everything for her but now that we know she is a he and not a her out with the pink and in with the blue!!!

CONGRATS!!!

I just wanted to tell you CONGRATULATIONS for getting and starting your new job. You are going to do great. I am very proud of you! I am excited that you will have a long weekend every now and then. And even more excited that Pete and I will live close enough for you to come visit us on those long weekends.

Duct Taped to a Pole

Yes, it is true.
It was my idea to be duct taped to a pole. Really it was pretty fun. I can't wait to get a hold of Twister's kids and do it to them!!!

I have a feeling that this is what I’ll find if I ever let Sandy watch my children. Should I be worried? I think so.

Fun at Marmie's

Sandy and I had a fun visit at Marmie's house last weekend. It was great to see friends and family. I can't wait until we get back to California for good - or at least for a few years. The plan is to move on down after baby fin makes his/her debut appearance. Sandy will be in Oregon getting smarter for the next couple of years (like she needs to get any smarter), but maybe we can talk her into a Bay Area lifestyle after that.

The Word Is Out

I AM GOING TO BE A GRANDMA!!! I can hardly contain my excitement. So here's the deal...Every year I get my girls a new years gift and so I wasn't expecting anything unusual when Misty told me she had sent me a new years gift and that she wanted me to call her before I opened it. In my box she had packed little pink booties (we are hoping for a girl) and a note that read "Dear Marmie- Looking forward to seeing you in 2008. Love, Baby Fin" I can't even express how wonderful it feels to know I have a Grandbaby on the way. After reading the note Baby Fin had sent I couldn't hold back my tears of joy. This baby is my little miracle this year.
